The South East Institute of Public Health (SEIPH) was established in April 1991 to improve the health of the population by bringing together the major public health disciplines.

In August 1999 the three main groups within SEIPH parted company and joined or formed new organisations.

The Environmental Research Group became part of the School of Health and Life Sciences at King's College London. Their web pages can be found here.

The Health and Healthcare Group have become part of the Centre for Health Service Studies at the University of Kent At Canterbury. Click here for their new web pages.

The Social Care Group has helped to form the Institute of Applied Health and Social Care as part of King's College London. Their web site is also currently under development and links will be posted here when it becomes available
